Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Viya website, browser extension, or related services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

These Terms form an agreement between you and the provider of Viya.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Viya.

Viya is a resume and job-analysis service delivered through a website and browser extension. It helps users compare resumes with job descriptions and review generated recommendations.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use Viya. If you create an account, you must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Subject to these Terms, Viya grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for your personal use.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity that occurs through your account.

Viya may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we believe there is a violation of these Terms, a security issue, abuse, fraud, or misuse of the service.

You may submit content to Viya, including resumes, job descriptions, links, and other materials you choose to analyze.

You keep ownership of your submitted content. You grant Viya a limited license to host, process, transmit, and use that content only as needed to operate, maintain, secure, support, and improve the service for you.

Viya uses AI systems to analyze resumes and job descriptions and to generate scores, summaries, recommendations, and related outputs.

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, outdated, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them.

The current browser extension requests host access for LinkedIn pages only.

When you initiate an analysis, the extension reads the job title, company name, job description, and listing URL from the active LinkedIn page so the service can compare that listing with your profile.

Viya currently offers a live product with free access that may be subject to quotas, feature limits, and history limits.

We may introduce paid plans, new features, or pricing in the future. If we do, those offerings may be subject to additional pricing, billing, or commercial terms when launched.

Viya and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the service, including the software, design, interface, branding, and related intellectual property, excluding user-owned submitted content.

You may not copy, resell, sublicense, reproduce, or create derivative services from Viya except as expressly allowed by these Terms.

Viya may rely on third-party providers for infrastructure, authentication, hosting, browser ecosystems, AI processing, and similar technical functions.

Viya may also interact with or link to third-party services, websites, job boards, and platforms. Viya is an independent product and is not affiliated with LinkedIn.

Viya may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service at any time.

You may stop using Viya at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, abuse, security issues, or operational reasons.

Viya is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that outputs will be accurate or suitable for your needs.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Viya will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, or hiring-related outcomes arising from or related to the service.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Viya from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the service, your submitted content, your violation of law or rights of others, or your breach of these Terms.

These Terms will be governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the service will be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires a different forum.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page.

Your continued use of Viya after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
